Thou protest too much…I love howhe can’t get enough of her but then backs away a cat mouse game for sure
I enjoyed the story of Vincent and Anne. This is a good book with a couple of surprise twists. A lot of wheeling and dealing behind the scenes with the characters. It is a very good read. I recommend this book to anyone who loves romance with surprises.TG
Nope. I slogged through a fair bit of the book, but could not find a single character or piece of story to enjoy. The women are cotton-headed ninny muggins. The men are ding dongs. Who is there to root for? To like?
They started her out with Antony who was the Marquees because Vincent made a vow not to marry. But finally Vincent’s heart one out and he couldn’t let her marry Lord Brecken so he stopped the wedding and married her himself.
Had to push myself through this, hoping it would get better. Alas, it never did. Cringe worthy prose, zero character development.
