Read this in one sitting. And you know how I did this? Simple – plot line is repetitive and boring. It feels like the plots are always the same – money, sex, alcohol, private planes, luxury cars, joan flouncing around. None of these things are bad, but seriously, ever since Stone entered into the world of the super rich, the story lines lack imagination.I used to look forward to new books coming out. Sadly, that is no longer true.
I’ve read all of the Stone Barrington series and may not read another. I’m hoping the next one will have a prologe where Stone wakes up from a bad dream and he realizes that nothing in this book ever happened.
Same plot the last 10 books. Hooks up with girl, someone is out to kill girl or him, move from house to house. Hasn’t bad an original thought in years. Might as well just read his old stuff. Nothing new in his current books.
I’ve been an addictive reader of all Mr. Woods novels. From Delano, GA to the start of Stone’s rise to riches and fame along with Dino and the gang.
