Summary

AN AMAZON TOP 50 BESTSELLER…He fights fires for a living, but the flames building between us may be too big to extinguish.Niko West is the most beautiful man I’ve ever laid eyes on.Six feet, four inches of broody, chiseled Greek god in a firefighter suit. He’s also been my best friend since kindergarten. He always says the only solid thing in his life is our friendship. He’s Honey Mountain’s favorite player and I’m what you’d call a relationship girl. But when I find myself single for the first time since turning sixteen, I make Niko an offer he can’t refuse.Who better to show me what I’ve been missing? But now that we’ve crossed that line, I don’t know if friendship is enough for me.
Good characters and a good plot a little suspense with a bad guy. This one has it all, I laughed and I cried. I loved the happy ending most.
Niko and Vivian have been best friends since kindergarten. Her father was the fire chief and Niko was a firefighter at his station. When her family gets an invite to her ex boyfriends wedding, she knows something has to change and she calls on Niko to help her. This the first book of the series and I am already hooked. The characters are well done with great backstories that pull at all your emotions, and banter that fits perfectly. Loved the storyline as things become very real between them, even though it is not smooth sailing to the love they want. This author just made it onto my favorites list and I plan to read a lot more of her books. Well done.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I enjoyed Always Mine – the setting, characters who both seemed strong yet sweet, and the situations they need to navigate to stay together.Only giving it 4 out of 5 because I felt the story fall apart a little by needing to add a dramatic violent scene – whereas the rest of the book was around them navigating normal life and coming to terms with their friendship turning into a relationship, didn’t feel like that jump was necessary in the theme of the whole story.
If you are tired of books that are 90% porn and 10% plot this is a good read. The characters are believable and likable, the plot moved along well, although it was a little predictable. However I enjoyed getting there with Vivi and Niko. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
I admit I skipped thru some of the pages. It was LmAo. Sense with what was gonna happen with some of it. But it was a good book and I am ready to read the 2nd one abt Everly
Enjoyed the lovers and family members, the fire men were nice, too. This was an enjoyable book, really good romance, and I want to eat treats in this town, see!s no one is fat!
