Book/Novel Title: Ascendance of a Bookworm
With the advancement ceremony and fellowship gatherings complete, Rozemyne’s new year at the Royal Academy can properly begin. She goes on another library-inspired rampage and pushes the other Ehrenfest second-years to finish their classes on the first day, all while hunting for new allies to recruit into her Library Committee.Somehow, Rozemyne manages to cause even more problems, and in quicker succession than the year before. She spends more time with the professors, the archduke candidates from top-ranking duchies, and even the Sovereignty’s third prince, much to her guardians’ displeasure. But as they agonize over interduchy diplomacy, Rozemyne blazes ahead on her own path. She charges forward with unbending focus and even hunts a ternisbefallen feybeast that shows up in Ehrenfest’s gathering spot! This is the newest volume of this biblio-fantasy wherein the book-obsessed protagonist can’t quite catch a break. Includes two original short stories and four-panel manga by You Shiina!
I really like this serious it’s written in simple language and is very fluent and the story is vary quote
I had fun reading this story at first, as it was interesting to see Myne make new products while living her life. However, it’s beginning to get stale, dealing with the nobility at every turn. It has the unfortunate trope of the MC being bullied into doing things by the side characters as well, which I’ve never liked in a novel. I’m hoping the next volume gets out of this rut.
This story is fantastic. I’m still loving the academy arc and feel it’s the best part so far. This time I especially loved the epilogue from Sylvester point of view. It was laugh out loud funny seeing the comparison of the reports and how completely clueless Myne is. It also showed us he really considers her his kid and cares about her, and how much he cares about Ferdinand. I am so excited for the next book!
I watch the anime and read the books. I find both delightful. If you are a book worm like the character then I don’t need to say more.
This installation had me yearning for more! But for this series that’s nothing new.All in all, another welcomed escape into this world of fantasy.
So far this book is my favorite. The humor within these pages on all the reports being made from all the antics Rosemyne gets into while attending the Royal Academy had me laughing so hard it brought tears to my eyes.I recommend this series to everyone !
