Just the type of read for a rainy day. Twists and turns , characters are well written, likeable and believable. A wonderful story teller.
Harry and Smudge – I do think that no matter what I think of the substance of the book itself just having Smudge would make everything alright. Understand the frustration that drives a vigilante – but it is simply unacceptable to think that another citizen should decide that they need to patrol and contain their neighbors is terrifying, Glad Rebecca and her mom are back…
Each story gets better, more intriguing. This one was very emotional. The plot twists…I was always many steps behind. It’s a fast moving, pulse quickening windup. I feel like I know the characters after so many of life’s situations faced and problems solved.
I’m such a fan of these books. Well written, fast paced, well thought out, too. Harry Grimm, and his whole crew are damn good characters.Gatward is a very talented writer. I highly recommend these books!
Good plot, nice twists, and great sense of humor. I would recommend this whole series for binge reading. The mysteries are unusual, not boring. The characters are believable and sometimes eccentric, the narrative is colorful and interesting. Above all, the humor is the best. Can’t wait for the next.
I have absolutely loved every single book in the Harry Grimm series. I highly recommend this author to anyone who is interested in gripping, thrilling, and utterly fascinating stories reminiscent of Colin Dexter’s Morse. Five stars, this one the best in the series yet. More please!
