I really enjoyed the banter between the main characters, Roland and Callie. It was a great read and I look forward to reading more books from this author!
This is a good office romance. Why? Because while all romance fiction deals with elements of ..”could that really happen?” At least the characters had a brain! The woman while insanely attracted doesn’t drop to her knees week one. Good humor.
This book brings us Roland Osprey.. Roland is in charge of a popular tabloid, Chicago Tea. He is on a mission for revenge, and he finds the perfect person to do his dirty work, that being Carolina or Callie. Callie’s personal life has been shattered by her alcoholic father, and what the tabloids write about him, so when they first meet, Callie wants nothing to do with him. However, Callie is shocked when she finds out that Roland is also going to be her new boss at the magazine she works for, Just Vibing. As Callie and Roland begin to work more closely together, their impressions and feelings become too much to ignore. This was a great read and I do recommend it. I did receive an arc for an honest review.
It was cute, but didn’t really grab me like the rest of her books. The inner thoughts kinda dragged on a bit. Repetitive inner thoughts had me skimming a couple sections.
This book was one that proves love conquers even the toughest man. Wish I had someone to love me like that again.. Next book please…
This book take you to highs and lows while keeping you wanting more. You want to read continuously without putting it down.
