Book/Novel Title: Empire of Hate
My boss. My enemy. I escaped my life.Leaving everything behind wasn’t easy, but I did it.I turned the page and flew over the ocean. This is my new beginning. My new chapter. My new book.Or so I hoped before I met my new boss.Daniel Sterling.Rich as sin, illegally attractive, and the face of every magazine cover.Oh, and the reason why I escaped in the first place.I made his high school life hell. He won’t stop until he gives me a taste of my own medicine.Empire of Hate is a complete STANDALONE. No other books should be read prior to this.
The author definitely sums up the story in the first few pages by mentioning an unhealthy obsession. That is exactly the way to describe the relationship, where the obsession is a bit ridiculous at times. A decent love story though with a HEA.
I struggled with this book. The main character Daniel was so difficult to like, even towards the end and was abusive towards Nicole for most of the book. I’ve read many of the authors book but I really could not connect with Daniel and having him become a better person the last few chapters didn’t work, it was too late
I wasn’t sure for some reason I like Daniel’s book. I like dominant alphas but reading the reviews I thought he be too much of a bully. In reality they both were. They weren’t true bullies though. Just two people hurt by the people who should have loved them the most. I actually liked their love story the most because of the healing you could read throughout each page. Daniel won me over with his kindness to her brother and the cat. You can’t hate a man who is good to your cat. It wasn’t a rainbow and unicorns story. More like dark skies and thunder, but after the skies cleared it definitely was a love worth fighting for.
As always, your books never disappoint, it made me cry, laugh, and made me feel all the love They had for each other!
Absolutely amazing definitely worth the read! Drama heartache and desire and obsession all in one and love!!! Makes me want to read the others
