Amazing!! Wow best vampire book I have read in a really long time! Without spoiling anything the twists and turns are jaw dropping!!!
This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
It’s a great book, and could keep up my attention despite the page count. It took me a while to get into the storyteller format, but it does work. I liked the world building, the differences between the various vampire clans, plus the idea of the sunlight gone. Gabriel in the now is a jaded addict, but we get to see some parts of his past, which made me like him. It feels like much of his story is omitted though, can’t wait to read more on him in the sequels. I liked the action scenes, they are quite bloody and fast paced. The quality of the writing is great, with many quotable lines. I also would like to note that the illustrations are absolutely fantastic, I’d love to see illustrations in adult fantasy books more often!Overall, I liked it a lot, can’t wait to read the sequels!
This book is absolutely incredible. The characters will grab you and not let you go.The action is intense and compelling. The story will build you up, shatter you, and then do it again. If you love vampires, fantasy, or just excellent fiction I cannot recommend this book enough!
Is this book unfinished? Did I miss something? A great story that all of a sudden just ends with no obvious resolution? How did he kill the Forever King? What happened to Dior? Where is the rest of this story?
