Book/Novel Title: Eyes on Me
I’m a voyeur—it means I like to watch. And in my line of work, that’s a gift.As one of the four owners of the Salacious Players’ Club, I’m comfortable on the sidelines. This is what I was made to do, and I work better alone.Until the day I stumble on a certain cam girl app and find myself watching the one person I should never have watched—my step-sister.There are three big problems with this. One, Mia and I can’t stand each other. Two, she has no idea I’m the man on the other end of the video. And three…I’m hooked—on the app and on her. Now, Mia has me wanting and doing things I said I’d never do again, like opening upand getting attached. I’m falling for her, but she’s falling for the mystery man I’m pretending to be.If I’m going to make this right, then I have to do more than just watch. But how far will I go to keep her eyes on me?
This book just wasn’t as good as the first one, it felt like the surface of issues were only scrapped and it didn’t hit real issue regarding the issue Garrett has.The three stars is more about the smut in this book which was great and the author definitely knows what she is doing when she writes those sex scenes! I just couldn’t connect to these two, I didn’t hate the MC’s, I didn’t love them either. The step-sister issue well I really didn’t know how I felt about it at first but then I realized they never grew up together and never had a sister/ brother bond or relationship with the age gap. I see how Garrett’s mom would see Mia as her daughter but she loves her son and if Mia was the missing piece I understood that mom would accept their relationship as well. I think I was more bothered with people calling her his sister or step sister when in reality she never was that to him nor was he a brother/step brother to her. This story was missing a connection between the MC’s for me.
This book was pretty good. The smut in this book was chef kiss. The story was also pretty good and the author did a good job of making the relationship seem natural and not weird. While it was a little weird since not only were they step siblings but they also had a age gap the author made it not too weird and made their relationship very natural. I think it was a very good take on the step sibling genre type books. The ending was cute I like how the book had both points of view including the epilogue though they were at different times. The ending could have been better like years later seeing her pregnant but it was good and made some sense for the story and there is another book after this with this characters being mentioned so it makes sense. Overall I would recommend i enjoyed reading it to 3/5. Is very spicy and kinky.
Okay so immediately after finishing Praise, I jumped right into Eyes on Me because naturally I needed to read Garrett’s story. Garrett is another one of the Salacious Players’ Club founders and he is the *people guy* – he makes sure customers are happy and he’s the brains behind a lot of the *activities.* A few things about Garrett : he’s in one hell of a dry spell [10 years], he’s a voyeur [aren’t we all? ], annnd he has a sexy as sin stepsister named Mia. Mia’s fun fact? Well she’s a cam girl. I bet you can guess where this is going. Imagine Garrett’s surprise when he hops on to a cam girl app and starts getting all hot and bothered by a girl only to find out it’s his STEPSISTER. I really really enjoyed this story. Garrett and Mia are sexy and adorable and emotional all at once and Garrett never once questions Mia’s choice of profession. She even becomes a staple at the club herself over time. I loved it. You should read it.p.s. He calls her kitten [sorry if that’s cringe for you].
Love me a good smutty read with substance. This book checked both boxes. This is my 2nd book by this author. Read Praise and Eyes on Me in one day. Can’t wait for the next book.
I really loved Mila and Grant so much. I loved their chemistry so much, the spice was really great as well. I also really loved Grant’s growth, I loved how we got to see the struggles that he went through.
