Both the H and h were enjoyable. I was pulling for them from the beginning. This has to be my favorite Adriana Locke book and couple yet. Cannot wait for the next.
This was the first book I’ve read by Adriana Locke and it will definitely not be the last. It made me laugh, it made me cry, and it made me swoon. There was so much love between the Carmichaels, and between Brooke and Jovie, and, of course, between Brooke and Moss. I loved how the entire Carmichael clan accepted Brooke into their fold. They appreciated her not only for what she brought to their business, but also for who she was, and that was something she was desperately lacking in her life. Brooke and Moss’ relationship was such a rollercoaster. From co-workers, to friends, to fake dating, to falling in love. They were such a fun couple to read. I loved their inner monologues that matched up so completely. They were so well matched. As great as the Carmichaels were, Brooke’s family was absolutely horrible. I can’t believe how horrible her mother was. This was an absolutely delightful read. I thoroughly enjoyed this first glimpse into the Carmichaels. Their brotherly fights and pranks were hilarious, and I can’t wait to see more from them!
Adrianna Locke is a new author to me. I found her because several other authors I follow on Facebook, posted something about this book. And because of the good reviews there, I had to look it up. And I am so glad I did. This book made me laugh and cry…. you could feel the pain, and rejoiced with them during the happy times. Because this is going to be a series about a family, brothers made their appearance here too, and the banter between them all, just cracked me up. Will definitely be buying more books by this author and have already pre-ordered the 2nd book in the series.
Moss is true man loving his women with fierceness and showing her the love she deserves. Their love for one another doesn’t come without panic but they get their hea
