For so many who don’t know where to turn when facing prediabetes or diabetes, this is the book to have! Author teaches the reader what’s going on in the body when you consume carbs and sugar. Illustrates everything you need to know when dealing with this disease. Don’t hesitate, purchase this book to understand diabetes.

I’ve been dealing with fatigue and just generally feeling like crap for years. I have trouble sleeping as well. I’ve been seeing my doctor and getting different medications for my various issues. I have gained a little weight as well — 15lbs. I really want to feel healthy again. A few years back i tried Paleo and felt great. But in the US, it’s nearly impossible to eat like that without a lot of work. I read this book last week and felt like it will really help me. I’ve started implementing the hacks in the book and I slept better this week than I have since I was doing Paleo. It’s really kind of amazing. The net/net to the book is to really eat less sugar but the hacks allow you to still eat what you want and curb your glucose spike. I’m going to keep at this because I feel like it will really help me. I really appreciated the simple analogies for the science in the book to help understand how our bodies work. I’ve read other books that make it way too complicated. If you are not feeling your best and are looking to feel better, I’d give this book a read. I’m hoping that my early returns will continue for me.
I absolutely love this book. The most practical guide to feeling your best through nutrition, etc. I am currently using some of the hacks and noticing that my cravings are dissipating and my afternoon energy levels are up!
