Lachlan is delighted to be picked by Tesla to help her friend out in Germany on a sensitive joint operation. Yet, when he finds out what’s involved, he’s shocked and intrigued. He’s not so overjoyed at the several references to how this “friend” would be perfect for him.Leah is relatively new to her job as a military analyst based in Germany. When her department is asked to help in a joint task force, she’s afraid she’s in over her head. She’s worked with several of these people before, but this case is an international banking scandal, which everyone is anxious to keep out of the media. But that’s pretty hard to do when the kidnapped victims survive, and a loved one doesn’t.As the bodies pile up, Lachlan realizes this is more about keeping Leah safe and less about helping Tesla out. It doesn’t take long for him to agree, and she becomes his priority too.
Dale Mayer can really write a good thriller. The book started very slowly, but ended with bang. I enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to anyone.
This is another great story from a great author. The characters are captivating and well developed. The story is engaging with plenty of action, suspense, mystery and romance. I love the book and can’t wait for the next.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Another great story by Dale! Mason and Tesla are at it again – matchmaking. Mason send Lachlan to Germany to be eyes for Tesla. Leah meets Lachlan and his team and they try to solve the hackers case. The twist is very shocking but made sense. These two don’t seem to get together until the end. Very interesting story! FANTASTIC job Dale! I would recommend this book!
I enjoyed this book even though it was confusing. It was so mixed up with the crimes and the people, I wasn’t sure what was happening.
Leah and Lachlan are two of a kind. They differ in world experience however. Leah sees people as being who they appear to be. InLachlan”s world things are seldom as they seem. Leah is feisty and emotional. Lachlan is laid back. They are intrigued. Will it work out? Read and see.
Lachlan is another heroic member of Mason’s team who is sent to Germany with a team for a class on computer technology. As soon as they land, they find out that it is more about protecting Leah than classwork. The action is unending from the beginning of the book to the end. All the bad guys are caught and Lachlan and Leah have their HEA.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
