Thankfully, there is another Grimm tale on the horizon. I have enjoyed this series immensely and hope there is no end in the immediate future. This story involves revenge and a tangle of victims that takes Harry back to Bristol in his search for answers. The storyline is weaker than some of the others but it’s not simply the tale; it’s the characters even more. Grimm has find himself a family in his colleagues. He’s even got a dog. There is home of the backbiting that happens in others of this genre. Harry is even getting along with his immediate superior, Swift. He has taken young Jaydn under his wing to help the young constable understand that his PTSD is not the end of his career.Have a good time and read a good book.
David Hayward always writes a book with several messages in it. He intertwines life with the messages. You always feel that you have learned a little more about life, police work as well as the criminal mind. His presrntation holds my attention.
Like the last book, this one is pretty dark & the violence is amped up from the first few books in the series. I’m hoping the next one isn’t so dark because I do like these characters.
Another really enjoyable British crime novel. Harry Grimm is unique character, and the author brings him to life. Looking forward to the next one.
What an amazing tale. And my favorite in the series so far. Looking forward to reading more from this author and hopefully there will be many more.
