Sam’s Secret By Ruby Dixon
Book/Novel Author: Ruby Dixon
Book/Novel Title: Sam’s Secret
Life has taught me that I can’t trust anyone. Not friends, not family. In the worst, darkest moments, no one can be counted on to have your back. Even a billion miles away from Earth, on a remote icy planet, I still feel alone. The only consolation? I haven’t resonated. It’s not that I don’t want love or children. I just can’t trust anyone, even myself. But then one day, my khui resonates, and it’s to the last guy I ever expected. In fact, I resonate so hard that my chest is singing its mating song before his does. That never happens. So what does a calm, rational, grown woman do when life turns upside down? She runs for the hills, of course.I should have known he’d follow me.Read more
Another great one by my favorite sci fi author! Can’t wait for the audible version and the next one to come in the series!!
I love this series. Every book is different. All the characters are unique & carry their own baggage. The communities grow & yet every person is still themselves. The characters are consistent. I love when I get to visit with them all.
Really great story. Can’t wait for the next one. I wonder if the secret this couple buried in the fruit cave will have serious consequences in the future, but I can’t wait to find out. I also really want a happily ever after for Daisy now. Can’t wait for the next book.
I knew Sam had gone through it back home, I don’t feel like the author went too far into what had really happened to her. I really like younger guys so I was good with this pair too. Overall they’re perfect together. Just like always love this author. While I wait for the next one, time to read about some dragons!!!
This story was long awaited and definitely went down a path I didn’t see coming…some parts left me scratching my head (like the random bad guy)BUT I love how absolutely perfect Sessah and Sam are for each other. Ruby as usual another wonderful book! Can’t wait for the next one!!!
I was amazed at how well Ruby handled Sam’s abuse and fear. There is too much domestic violence in our society. I like how this book highlights that.Sessahis just right for Sam and I loved how the story played out.
