Secret Leto is going stir-crazy in the small town she grew up in. Full of Betas, Silver Lake is the safest place for an Omega in hiding, but she can’t stand to spend another second trapped there. Passing for a Beta at Goldcrest College is so much harder than she expects. The big city is full of Alphas, and she’s starting to attract some attention that could ruin her shot at freedom.Meeting a rare male Omega and his Alphas, her perfume is triggered, and there’s no going back. She can run from herself, but she can’t hide from her true mates.Secret Omega is a standalone sweet omegaverse romance with college-aged characters, serious steam, and an HEA.
I read a lot of RH and this one is am awesome read. It was wrote well and keeps your attention throughout. You can’t help but fall in love with the characters.
It was a cute story but I think the plot could of been better. I got whiplash trying to keep up with the story and how it bounced around
I really enjoyed the story of Secret and Dylan. Their relationship grew and we got a lot of on the page romance with them. Dylan’s alphas get much less screen time and tbh Seth is kinda a creeper pr!ck at the beginning.SpoilersRyan not showing up until 80% of the way through didn’t really jive with me and everything at the end seemed too neat. I think another couple of chapters would’ve made the difference.
I enjoyed the story overall but there was A LOT of telling me what happening instead of showing it, especially at the end. All the action happens so quickly that there’s barely time for tension before it is already taken care of in a very convenient fashion.Secret started out very likable but loses a lot of her personality toward the end, and there’s almost no build up with Ryan.Overall, I enjoyed it but it needed to be at least 50% longer than it was to flesh everything out.
I really enjoyed the story and characters but I wish readers had more time with them. Would have been great a two part series since the plot seemed rushed.Great sex scenes. I like how this fits into the larger trench of bisexual reverse harems.
Dnf got about half wayThere’s a lot of extra and repetitive things. Multiple povs is fine but when you’re just repeating what already happened or switching A LOT. .. you kinda lose me. I feel like this book had TONS of potential but I eventually gave up. It starts of strong and just Swan dives so quickly in my opinion.I read this specifically because a negative comment mentioned MM, that doesn’t bother me at all. I actually search for good quality mm but from what I read it seems less about an emotional bond and mostly physical… which personally I’m looking for more than that in a good book.So to summarize Goes downhillThe fmc loses what drew me in QUICKMM seems more for spice than genuine feelings
