Another great novel by Mary Stone. Loved the setting for this book, an island off coast of Virginia. Hard book to put down. I read it in 2 days
This is an superb new author. I enjoyed the book from beginning to end. I can relax and enjoy this summer’s new find. As a retired librarian, I am always looking for new writers. Mary Stone fits the bill perfectly. It’s going to be a good summer.
I just couldn’t put it down. I’d recommend this to anyone who likes a mystery with a little romance on the side
Just an ok read. Little character development. Writer left many loose ends to entice reader onto next book but I don’t care enough about the characters to continue reading the next book. Reads more like a YA novel. Not for me
Loved this book! The first few chapters were a bit slow, but once the story took off, it was a “can’t put it down” success, that we cherish and expect from Mary Stone and her co-authors.Loved the character development, that makes them feel personal, leaving the reader hu fry for sequels. The plot unfolded in an exciting AND believable fashion.A home run of a first of series novel.
Good read. Interesting characters and story. Believable and well written. You’d never know what life on an island would be like without reading this story.
