Book/Novel Author: Kimberly Lemming
Book/Novel Title: That Time I Got Drunk And Yeeted A Love Potion At A Werewolf
Anyone else ever thrown a drink at someone’s head, only to miss entirely and hit a stranger behind them? Then have that stranger fall madly in love with you because it turned out that drink you threw was a love potion? No, just me? Well damn.Dealing with a pirate ship full of demons that just moved into town was hard enough. Now on top of it, I have to convince a werewolf that I’m not his fated mate, he’s just drugged. Easier said than done.Though I have to say, having a gorgeous man show up and do all of your chores while telling you you’re beautiful isn’t the worst thing to happen to a girl.
I could read a thousand more pages of this story and 20 more books of this entire series ugh I am in love!!!
Definitely a fun read. Entertaining characters, delightful dialogue, excellent banter, and a fun world that expands with each new book in the series. Can’t wait for the next one!
Spicy – 8 out of 10. But also delightful. Characters come to mind so clearly. Fun read quick read. Makes you laugh.
that was so much!! definitely not as gorey or action packed as the first installment in this series but we had a good a share of both anyway.the love potion aspect really made me hesitant though. there truly was no way to tell if she was his mate or if it was his love potion drunk eyes telling him that. he was utterly devoted to her, of course, but he was also manic so i took all his thoughts with a grain of salt.brie was lovely. her commitment issues really spoke to my heart. its hard to trust someone with your heart after others barely want to deal with your mind. im glad she realized felix wasn’t going to be like that. even without the love potion, i think he would’ve acted much of the same with/about her really. they were good together.a talking flying sword? SIGN ME UP!!i also give this out of 5. i wish there was a little more smut.
I found myself really upset that she doesn’t have more books out. Actual relatable dialogue, humor and characters along with great sex scenes.
This book kept me smiling through most of it. There’s definitely some serious tones, but the author does a good job of not dragging you down. And Felix is a giant puppy dog.
