Summary

Move over, Dav Pilkey, it’s George and Harold’s turn to tell the tale of the all-new superhero who’s faster than a speeding stroller and more powerful than diaper rash. Make way for Super Diaper Baby!Oh, no! It looks like George and Harold are in trouble again… As punishment, the boys have to write a 100-page report on “good citizenship,” and they have been specifically ordered NOT to make another comic about Captain Underpants. So what do they do? They create an all-new superhero… Super Diaper Baby! Super Diaper Baby’s archenemy, Deputy Dangerous, wants to steal his powers and take over the planet. Will the diaper-wearing dynamo defeat the deputy, or is the entire Earth doomed?
Imagine a book for kids teaching wrong English. You found it!This is supposed to be for kids, but there are so many typos that I wonder about how good it is for kids. If your kid is learning English, it’s better to avoid this book. It’s quite upsetting.
My kid almost fell down when reading this book because it was so funny. Best book ever for a 7 year old.
I got a chance to finally read some of this book, and finally realized why my son suddenly started to make grammar mistakes. My son is 8 years old and a very advanced reader and good at spelling. His last book was “Prisoner B-3087”, as he loves history. From time to time, he reads comics as well.On hislast summer assignment he misspelled “didn’t” as “dident”.After reading this book (book reviewed here), grammatical and spelling mistakes are on every page, and that is where my son “relearned” how to spell “didn’t”.Occasional mistakes I do not mind, but all the intentional mistakes this book has, should not be there. Intentional mistakes confuse young readers.I only agreed to read this with my son, as long as I would point out every mistake there was in the book. That way, it would be somewhat beneficial for him to read it.I also didn’t appreciate the language used in the book, my son loved it though. “Dog Man” books are much better books to read, at least they don’t have as many mistakes.Children should learn the right way to spell, and a lot of them learn visually by reading books.I do not recommend this book.
Super Diaper Baby is not what I thought.I thought Captain Underpants would have kid but no I will tell you that’s not who baby is.This story actually had me laughing out loud several times. It was a cute story with a cute ending.
