Totally dislike the “short book” gimmick. This promotional ploy is ridiculous. 77 pages in the 1st book, only to have to move to the 2nd book which is even shorter. Just offer the entire book and stop with the “ploy!” And as for the book itself, it’s OK but nothing fantastic! Not moving on because I don’t like characters who are liars and deceitful for their own gain!
Well I just have to keep going on.The suspense is killing me. Lauren should be ashamed, she may have been adopteind and that shows her parents loved her enough to adopt her.
This book was about Lauren jumping to a conclusion, without knowing the entire truth. She should have trusted her parents and not jump to a conclusion.
I would give the storyline 5 stars. I would give the author -0 stars. Just so that you are aware, these are not complete books. I have read 1, 2, 3 & 4. Each “book” has 6 chapters and the next “book” finishes the paragraph from the previous “book”. It’s bad enough that you are forced to purchase the next “book”, but to have to wait for them because they aren’t even released yet is shameful.I think this is terrible for the author to do this and although I really like the so called books, I have absolutely no respect or good feelings towards the author.
Lauren is still in town searching for her sister Chelsea, who has mysteriously disappeared. As the search continues Lauren has told so many stories of who she is a and why she is in town. Another unexpected point in the story is when Lauren encounters her ex-husband is in town another strange point is a dinner where she sees Chelsea’s mom, who is amazed at the resemblance between Lauren and her missing daughter.Where is Chelsea?Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.
I can’t wait to meet Chelsea and see where she has been and what she has been doing. Good clean read, but you have to read all 6 parts to get the whole story.I was given an advanced copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
