This book is very detailed and has excellent advice for freelancers looking to scale up their business. The book has great resources too. However, I was quite disappointed that the section on writing winning proposals didn’t have a sample proposal/handout that I could apply. Overall, it’s a super helpful book!
This book is for anyone who is a freelancer and in any niche. Turning through every page, I felt that Laura was speaking directly to me. This book has given me great tips and ideas on how to grow my business even more. As a business owner, you want to do it all yourself and that’s totally me. I love Laura’s tips on outsourcing and figuring what you can outsource. There’s things in this book that I had the time to really deep dive into like Responding Professionally to Rejection and Recognizing Toxic Clients.
I have highlighted the heck out of this book in the past month since I got it. Plenty of tips and advice here for the new freelancer.
