Best friends forever turning Into lovers… what more can you ask for?!?! I want a Weston McKnight in my life!
This could have been half the length. The writing was awkward, grammatically strange and confusing. Each character over explains everything about what they’re thinking and feeling, often contradicting themselves from page to page. I wanted to like it but I could hardly finish it.
Rachel returns home to Dallas, North Dakota, & confronts Weston McKnight. He was the boy next door, 4 yrs older, & her older brother’s friend who broke her teenage heart when went to the army & didn’t keep his promise to write. Love finds a way to heal these two. A terrific blend of humor, small town life with a dash of suspense thrown in & a pig with a mind of his own. Ms Snow handles it all with skill. A 5-star, sexy read.
I love second chance romances! This romance has it all. Loved it! Shelly is great and so is McNight. Great story!
I am an avid reader and this book was not a hit. It’s so drawn out, the sentences don’t flow and the author goes off on random tangents. I didn’t often get a clear picture, the story line could be awesome if the grammar and structure were not such a distraction for the reader. Three stars. A good idea, bad follow through.
Hot, steamy scenes are perfect! And the emotional connection of finally having the person your heart always wanted, on both sides, is so well written that I felt every emotion, the highs and the lows. Only a few parts got repetitive, but not enough to lose me because I love Nicole Snow and the whole Dallas gang. I could have read another 100 pages and been perfectly happy to stay in that world!
